Liz Pichon, author of the million-selling Tom Gates series, discusses what influenced her to write, engaging hearts and minds, and how to inspire children who learn differently.
Attendees will also have the chance to meet Liz and get their copies of Tom Gates signed. There will be books available to purchase on the day.

Open a World of Possible with Katharine Bailey and Liz Pichon
Places are also filling fast for Liz Pichon and Katharine Bailey’s workshop on independent reading, which will explore the pleasure and power of reading, how to motivate children to read more, understand more and read joyfully.
Katharine Bailey has worked at CEM since 1996 and is Director of Business Development. During this time, she has worked closely with schools and education authorities, and has established extensive research links with organisations in the UK and overseas. As a result of her work with UK and international institutions, Katharine has an excellent understanding of the challenges faced by educators.
Katharine and Liz will be joined by Catherine Bell, Co. Group M.D. for Scholastic UK.
