At Scholastic we want to get children reading and to support teachers.

We publish great Children’s Books and inspiring and time-saving Teacher’s Resources and Magazines.

We offer school Book Clubs and Book Fairs that give every child the chance to enjoy reading and provide free books to schools.

We're celebrating

Nikki Heath of Werneth School, Stockport, has been crowned School Librarian of the Year 2008. The judges remarked that ‘[Nikki’s] passion for supporting students to become both confident, independent researchers and to read for pleasure is her driving force.’

Philip Reeve, author of the Mortal Engines quartet, presented Nikki with her award at a special ceremony in Westminster.

Scholastic are proud to support the award as part of their commitment to excellence in reading.
