Scholastic Education PLUS have launched their largest ever D&T project. Fairytale Kingdom will run from now until January 2009 – and absolutely everyone can take part.
Month by month, Scholastic will be publishing instructions on how a primary class can create each part of a magical model. Instructions will be available both in print and online at Scholastic Education PLUS.
As classes progress through the project they will be able to upload photos of the things they’ve made so far to share with fellow builders across the UK. We’re confident that everyone who takes part will develop their creativity and problem solving…and come away with their own beautiful Fairytale Kingdom.
There’s even a competition. Submit a photographic journal about ‘the making of’ your completed model and you could win £5000 worth of Educational resources from NES Arnold.
So, it’s time to start stashing the kitchen rolls, saving up your lolly sticks and get building!
