Saturday 13th September is Roald Dahl Day 2008!

It’s your chance to celebrate one of the funniest, most creative and unorthodox children’s authors that ever lived!

Bring some Dahl into your classroom

Our Educational magazine teams have come up with some great ideas for Dahl Day celebrations. Check out Junior Education PLUS for starters: they have some great literacy activities, some ICT ideas and some chocolate-packed fun inspired by a certain famous children’s story!

Meanwhile, Literacy Time PLUS magazine feature ideas for some thought-provoking investigations into biographical writing, including an extract from Dahl’s autobiography, Boy.

There is lots more Roald Dahl material available to view online at Education PLUS too.
