World Book Day 2008
This year, World Book Day was on 6 March. Don't worry if you missed it though – there are still plenty of things you can do throughout March and April to celebrate everything about books and reading…
Hold a fair!
Scholastic Book Fairs are a fantastic way to make reading a huge event in schools. We will be accepting World Book Day tokens in our Book Fairs from 4 February to 28 April 2008 on any of the books featured on the Book Fair.

Claim your token!
As part of this worldwide celebration of reading, every schoolchild in the UK will receive a £1 book token. These tokens are valid between 3 March and 30 March and can either be exchanged for one of nine specially-released £1 books or put towards any book or audio book costing £2.99 or more.
Look out for Captain Underpants and the Attack of the Talking Toilets in this year's list of £1 books.
