Safer Internet Day: Resources to help you create a safer internet!
Today is Safer Internet Day so we’ve compiled some resources and tips to help parents, teachers and kids create a safer internet.
Coordinated in the UK by the UK Safer Internet Centre, the day offers the opportunity to highlight positive uses of technology and to explore the role we want to play in helping to create a better and safer online community.
Resources for Parents and Teachers

Worksheets for the classroom
Here are some resources for teaching internet safety in the classroom:- Web invaders . Highlight the importance of keeping personal details safe and secure.
- Email and e-messaging . Use this game to educate children on how to recognise potential internet danger.
- Adults you can trust . To help make children aware of internet danger, ask them to write a list of adults they can trust and describe one of them.
