Our Favourite Share Your Fair Entries of 2017/18

We love hearing about the excitement that a Book Fair creates and every month we give away a goody bag worth £100 to the best Book Fair story that we see on social media as part of our Share Your Fair competition! This year it’s been incredibly difficult to pick our winners because we’ve had so many amazing entries. Take a look at three of our favourite moments below and be inspired for your own 18/19 Book Fairs!

Put it up to a vote

St Michael’s Prep wowed us with their many social media posts. We loved everything from their competitions to their pictures of pupils with books but we especially loved their vote taking.

They got pupils to pick their favourite books by lining up to show their support. They also tagged the author and got an enthusiastic reply which no doubt added to the pupil’s excitement!

You’ve heard of Facebook, now get ready for…Book Face?

We loved Larbert High’s Book Face posts – an utterly original idea where pupils found books with people on and used them as masks.

They also posted book recommendations from different teachers which was a great way to put a spotlight on different books.

Advertise your Book Fair

Do you remember this incredible advert from Lark Hall Primary School? Maybe you remember one of their others because they made several! You can see them all on their YouTube channel. A video is a great way to spread the news of your Book Fair’s arrival and get pupils excited and involved.
