The Scholastic Reading Audit
The Scholastic Reading Audit – a comprehensive tool designed to challenge and support you in the teaching and leading of reading in your school.
Designed to be taken by headteachers, literacy coordinators or reading managers, this audit covers oracy, phonics and early reading, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension as well as assessment, reading for pleasure, library usage, home-school links and book events.
The Scholastic Reading Audit is provided free of charge for individual schools.

The Reading Audit for School Trusts
In addition to a Reading Audit for each of the schools in the trust, the Reading Lead at the trust receives a trust level report that allows you to see how each of your academies are implementing reading and allow you to compare and contrast individual schools, enabling sharing of best practice. You will also receive access to an exclusive national report so you can benchmark yourself against the national picture.
