About Scholastic UK

Scholastic publishes award-winning and best-selling children’s books, educational book and magazine resources for teachers, and language-learning magazines for children and young people.

Through Scholastic Book Clubs and Scholastic Book Fairs we bring children and reading together, and provide free books to schools. In fact, we are the biggest specialist children’s bookseller in the UK and Ireland. Last year alone, we put 5 million books into the hands of children, and gave £9 million to schools to spend on books.

We work closely with leading literacy charities and initiatives, such as the National Literacy Trust, The Reading Agency, and World Book Day.

Scholastic employs approximately 420 people over 10 sites across the UK and Ireland, in London, Leamington Spa, Coventry, Southam, Witney, Dublin, Belfast, Livingston, East Grinstead, and Frome
