Find Out More About The Good Schools Guide
As pencils are sharpened for a fresh academic year, we are teaming up with an organisation that knows very well the importance of fostering a love of reading in children, The Good Schools Guide.
Started in 1986 by three mums, The Good Schools Guide continues to be written by parents, for parents and now includes in-depth, up-to-date reviews of 1,300 of the UK’s best state, independent and special schools as well as helpful data on every single school in the country. Schools can’t choose, nor pay, to be included, making it the only truly independent, unbiased source of information on what it’s really like to attend them. It also includes thousands of free to access, expert articles about all aspects of education, including this feature on great books to help children start or settle back to school.
Managing editor, Melanie Sanderson told us,
“Libraries are the academic heartbeat of a school and are often placed at the physical heart too. We know a good school is often one full of active and inspired readers so through this partnership we want to help parents encourage their children to enjoy even more wonderful books.”
Look out for some great offers and more expert advice throughout the term!
