Horrible Histories back on TV
The side-splitting CBBC sketch show based on Scholastic’s Horrible Histories series returns to UK screens this week.
Just like the Horrible Histories books, the TV series puts an anarchic and irreverent spin on history. The quick-fire sketches cover periods from pre-history to WW2, and guest stars include David Baddiel, Alexei Sayle and Jon Culshaw.
A new installment of the 13-part series will be shown every evening at 5.15pm on CBBC . Don’t worry if you miss an episode: you can catch up on BBC HD and on iPlayer.
