Visit Scholastic at BETT 2016 to find out more about Scholastic Reading Pro, an innovative tool that assesses and inspires reading progress.
Free lunch will be provided for all attendees, along with the opportunity to experience Scholastic Reading Pro in action and find out how it uniquely manages to recommend the right book for the right child at the right time.
Perfect for Headteachers, Literacy Coordinators and Heads of English at primary and secondary schools (international schools also welcome), spaces are limited to a maximum of two visitors per school.
Sessions take place in the Hands On Learn Live theatre at 1pm from Wednesday 20th – Saturday 23rd January 2016 and places can be booked in advance here .
Scholastic Reading Pro is a tool to help develop children’s literacy skills and their love of reading. It identifies a child’s reading level using an adaptive reading test and then recommends books for them based on their age, ability and interests. Once a child has read the recommended book, they then take a quiz based on the book.
Scholastic Reading Pro gives teachers meaningful, actionable data so teachers can set targets, identify weaker readers who need support or stronger readers who need to be challenged. It lets teachers measure improvement and monitor progress over time and get a real-time view of school performance which all leads to increased performance in school across all subject areas.
