You could be a published illustrator!

Want to have your drawing published in a picture book?
In the latest book in the There’s No Such Thing... series a little child is determined to find out whether there really is such a thing as dragons. Do YOU think dragons exist? Then why not draw one, because to celebrate the publication of this fantastic book, we will put one reader’s piece of art into the story! You can enter your very own drawing of a dragon for a chance to be featured in There’s No Such Thing as Dragons, which will publish in the UK in April 2023.
To enter, submit a picture of your dragon drawing to publicity@scholastic.co.uk with the subject line ‘DRAGON COMPETITION’. Drawings should be sent as attachments or included in the body of the email. Submissions will be judged by Lucy Rowland and Katy Halford. The winner will have their drawing published in the book and receive a huge bundle of Scholastic picture books.
- Entries must be by children aged 3-6.
- The deadline for entry is 2nd September.
- Only successful entrants will be contacted. T&C’s apply.
