Scholastic is the world’s largest publisher and distributor of children’s books, working with thousands of schools in the UK and Ireland every year to inspire children to read for pleasure through its Book Fairs and Book Clubs programmes. Scholastic provides trusted resources and support to teachers through its Educational publishing arm and is also the home to children’s authors and illustrators including Philip Pullman, Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler and series including The Hunger Games, Captain Underpants and Horrible Histories.

We are looking to recruit a highly-motivated individual to join our Schools Marketing and Publicity team. You will be a talented designer producing print, digital and video whilst developing the overall company brand. You will be responsible for marketing design for the many schools-facing brands of Scholastic with the production of catalogues, leaflets, brochures, POS, order forms, e-newsletters, website assets, presentations, reports and video editing/creation.

With experience in the design of both print and digital marketing material, you will be a key member of the team with a strong creative flair and ideally some experience in illustration. With good skills using Adobe Creative Suite, especially, Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator, you will have the ability to work to tight deadlines and have a pinpoint attention to detail as well as being highly organised and able to communicate positively with a variety of stakeholders.
