Here’s your chance to work as part of that team!

The Product team at Scholastic are responsible for reading, commissioning and buying all the books we sell at our book fairs, in our clubs leaflets and in our online shop. From lift-the-flap board books to young adult thrillers, the latest Netflix tie in to space encyclopaedias, award winning authors to books about Baby Shark, we sell everything!

Working in the Product team is the perfect job to start your career in publishing. You will have a demonstrable high standard of written and verbal communication, as well as an eye for detail and high-accuracy proofing skills. You will be as good with numbers as you are words – you’d be surprised how much work in publishing is achieved through Excel and data reports! You will be just as comfortable working on long-term projects as with short deadlines and schedules. This requires excellent multi-tasking skills, high levels of organisation and proven time management skills. Most importantly, you will be passionate about getting children reading and our mission to get every child access to books.
