Scholastic is the world’s largest publisher and distributor of children’s books and in the UK is home to authors and illustrators including Philip Pullman, Julia Donaldson, Axel Scheffler and Liz Pichon and series including The Hunger Games, Tom Gates, Captain Underpants and Horrible Histories.
We are looking to recruit a highly motivated individual to join our dynamic UK Trade Sales team.
Based in the London office, you will provide key support to the Sales Department and be responsible for pulling together presentation material, compiling sales data, maintaining sales databases and co-ordinating meetings. You will also be dealing with queries over the telephone and liaising with customers.
The successful candidate must be numerate, have strong communication skills and have great attention to detail. You will be highly organised alongside the ability to manage own workloads and be proficient in all Microsoft packages including Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
