Our favourite books by Judith Kerr
We are saddened to hear of the death of beloved children’s author Judith Kerr. In honour of her incredible life and work, we wanted to share some our favourite Judith Kerr classics with you.
The Tiger Who Came to Tea
The Tiger Who Came to Tea is one of our all-time favourite classic picture books – and it’s certainly a favourite of children worldwide. This surprising, imaginative, warm and funny story is one of the most popular picture books ever. Deservedly so.
When Hitler Stole Pink Rabbit
It’s 1933, but Anna is too busy tobogganing and playing with her favourite toy, Pink Rabbit, to listen to talk of Hitler. She hasn’t noticed that her country is changing; that it’s become too dangerous for some people to live in any more. She has no idea at all that she’s one of those people. This classic story by Judith Kerr is based on her real-life experiences, which makes it all the more poignant.
Mog’s Christmas
Everybody loves Mog! Our favourite fictional feline doesn’t quite understand the fuss of Christmas is this classic seasonal tale. Definitely one of our favourite Mog stories.
