Celebrate Walk to School Week with Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler

Micro Scooters

We’ve partnered with Micro Scooters to celebrate Walk to School Week, from the 17th to the 21st May. We’re encouraging Primary school pupils (and parents!) to walk to school every day for the week – and some of our favourite Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler characters are coming along for the trip!

We’re setting five mini challenges for children to complete on their walks to and from school. Parents simply need to send us evidence of their child completing the challenge, and they could be in with the chance to win a family set of Micro Scooters – including their amazing new Gruffalo print scooters – to make the walk to school even more exciting!

Keep an eye on our Facebook page for full details of each daily challenge. Entries should be sent to sbfcompetitions@scholastic.co.uk and we’ll pick one lucky winner at the end of the week.

Terms and conditions apply, please see here for details.

Scholastic Book Clubs: Books of the Month

Every month our Book Club editors choose a Book of the Month for each age range – the perfect stories to share at home or in the classroom. Take a look at our May 2021 Books of the Month and find out why our experts picked them!
